All dressed up for a 1960s themed Christmas Party in this gorgeous white lace mini shift dress with flesh-tone satin underlay from new Aussie brand Elliatt, metallic gold leather high heels with gold buckles from Wittner, yellow textured vinyl handbag with bow detailing from Review (thanks for the early Christmas present, Jenny!) augmented with a faux fur rabbit charm from Chinese store Cube & "beachy" accessories - a pair of shell bangles from Sea Wish at Coolangatta & chunky cocktail ring made of shell from Thousand Island Dressing at Paddington - to complete the Gidget* style look!

* For those of you who are unfamiliar with Gidget, she's a fictional girl named Frances Elizabeth Lawrence, created by author Fredrick Kohner in a 1957 novel that was subsequently made into a series of films starring Sandra Dee & Debra Walley as well as a television series starring Sally Field. Basically, she's a pint sized teenage girl who wants to learn to surf in a time when it was basically a male-dominated pastime... all while capturing the attention of the slightly older, guitar-playing Moondoggie, played by famed singer James Darren in the original films.
