Finally posting all the pictures from a wonderful - if a little rainy - Friday spent exploring all that the Southbank Cultural Precinct has to offer with family. I'm posing by the mighty Brisbane River wearing a gorgeous black lace fit-to-flare dress with funnel neckline & contrast white lace hem panel from Aussie brand Review - renowned for their "girly" aesthetic, black leather flat sandals with silver rivet detailing from Wittner - otherwise known as the perfect combination of style & comfort - & a vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Urban Originals to hold all my valuables whilst leaving my hands free. When it came to accessories, I kept it simple - a black resin "coral" cuff from a market stall at Paniyiri Greek Festival a few years ago & a straw boater-style hat with black grosgrain ribbon & bow that I picked up for under $10 recently at the Redcliffe Markets... very Madeline, as far as I'm concerned... The red poppy is, of course, in deference to Remembrance Day (November 11) where we pay our respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom in this nation.

Well, now that all the fashion is taken care of, scroll down to see how the day unfolded...
