Soaking up the last vestiges of the all-too-brief wintertime in Queensland by wearing some of my favourite garments for a smoothie run at a local shopping centre. This stunning rose printed textured silk fit-to-flare dress with its amazing full skirt concealing a black tulle underlay from Taking Shape transforms from "dressy" to bohemian with the addition of a vibrant, red velvet jacket with gold braiding & brass buttons from Tree of Life that, quite frankly, wouldn't be out of place on the front of The Beatles' Sgt Pepper record! Matte black leather ankle boots with brass studs from Witchery "dress down" the look, making it more daytime appropriate, ditto the suede & vinyl roll-top shoulder bag (that converts to a clutch if need be) from Portmans.
