So excited to share all the gorgeous pictures of a day spent exploring Brisbane City in the Springtime with my darling mother, perusing the Brisbane Arcade Flower Show before enjoying lunch at one of our favourite Thai places, Phat Elephant & finally, catching a screening of "Crazy Rich Asians" at the stunning Elizabeth Picture Theatre. I'm exuding the spring vibes in a stunning oriental floral cotton fit-to-flare dress with high/low hem (a great hemline option for us shorties) from Anthea Crawford, vibrant cropped red knitted cardigan from "girly" Aussie label Review, black leather & elastic pointy-toed heels from Wittner & boxy black suede handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection to carry all the essentials. When it came to jewellery, I chose a few special pieces: a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & matching silver & onyx charm bangle & ring from Pandora.

Ready to see "Crazy Rich Asians" at the Elizabeth Picture Theatre...

I really enjoyed the film despite the fact that it changed quite a bit of the book & cut out some of the the more risque elements. There also wasn't enough Astrid, who is my favourite character, but I'm hopeful that she will be making more of an appearance in the sequel. Highly recommended if you want something that is both heartwarming & heartwrenching at times, yet leaves you with a smile on your face.

And some gorgeous mother-daughter pictures in what we've deemed our Spring Uniform: a vibrant cotton floral fit-to-flare dress with a soft knitted cardigan...
