Loving unexpected layering combinations for the change of seasons, particularly a pop of bright colour over a pattern or print. In this case, I've paired a funky leopard print polyblend shirred midi dress with oversized ruffled collar from Brit "cool girl" label Ghospell (a diffusion line for Dream Sister Jane) with a vibrant blue knitted three-quarter-sleeved cardigan - cropped at the smallest part of my waist - from Kitten D'Amour, a pair of vintage-inspired black satin high heeled mules with cylindrical silver heels from Wittner (confession: I call them my "Philadelphia Story" shoes because they are very similar to a pair that heiress/socialite Tracy Lord, played Katherine Hepburn, wears in the 1940 film) & a beautiful woven floral envelope clutch with tassels from Arte Color Handmade, an Etsy boutique specialising in stunning Mexican accessories that seeks to empower indigenous artisans, thereby preserving endangered cultures, to complete the look.
