Finally posting some pictures from a recent shopping trip to Garden City, rocking black poly-blend soft SSF trench with silver buttons over the top of a vintage Diane Freis poly-blend smock with flutter sleeves, v-neckline & shoulders edged with contrasting floral fabric & a matching long wrap with tassels. What I love most about the dress, however, is the pleating that designer Freis is famous for, which just made me want to spin around & around! Check it out in all its glory below:

As with many of my Winter ensembles, the look was anchored by black suede & neoprene heeled booties from Corelli, a pair of 40 denier Razzamatazz tights & a funky round patent handbag from Vera May with painted panels on both sides featuring a front verandah & fence complete with mail box & fluffy white cat.

Jewellery was minimal and sculptural to keep the look modern - a thick, silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & moulded silver ring from my local Sportsgirl store for a touch of shine.
