Murphy's Law

Holidays are the best days, particularly if you have the chance to spend them with the ones you love, sharing good food & great conversation. In this case, my mother & I spent a Tuesday morning traipsing around the River City, perusing the boutiques & shopping up a storm in one of our favourite shoe stores (ahem, Wittner) before sitting down in the eclectic, rustic surrounds of Irish Murphy's Pub for a delicious hot meal of Guinness Pie & Irish Stew, respectively.

Scroll down for some snippets from the day, as well as some "outfit shots" in a far-from-usual location...

Posing in the pub's "Parlour Room" wearing a stunning Anthea Crawford dress with black pleated jersey bodice & iridescent floral jacquard kick-pleated skirt; layered Taking Shape long-line cardigan in black mesh & City Chic collarless leather jacket; patent lace-up boots from Wittner with 40 denier nylon tights; boxy patent handbag with silver hardware from Novo. Silver jewellery pieces completed the look - a fob necklace with "harmony ball" pendant from Prouds & circular onyx stone cocktail ring from Georgini.
