Finally able to celebrate my wonderful father Rayne's birthday (it was so disappointing to be too sick on the actual day) with a family dinner at our favourite Oishii Sushi Bar, followed by dessert at Sweet Treats Cafe in Sunnybank. Here I am, posing outside in the (finally!) cool night air wearing a gorgeous fit-to-flare dress from Anthea Crawford with navy stretch jersey bodice & white tulle & navy sequinned floral skirt; white mesh longline "duster" cardigan from Absolutely Fabulous (purchased many years ago from Figure 8 Fashion in Ipswich); black satin "bow" mules with silver heels from Wittner & a navy leather bucket-shaped bag with black piping from an Australian brand called Evontte, discovered at my local Trade Secret store. When it came to jewellery, I stayed within the colour palette with a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & matching silver bracelet & necklace with navy & white "girl" cameo detailing from Karen Walker, gifted to me by a dear friend.
