Abbeystowe

Finally posting all the pictures from a wonderful day spent travelling "back in time" at the Abbey Medieval Festival in Caboolture. Spanning three days in July & attracting all manner of medieval enthusiasts, historians, re-enactment groups, Gothics & other historically-inspired subcultures (Game of Thrones, anyone?) it's a chance to immerse oneself in a truly unique & colourful event with jousting competitions, archery, fencing, blacksmithing, wrestling, flower wreath making, renaissance art, historical talks & market stalls selling everything from food & drink to fashion!

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...

Posing near the tents of the Viking Campsite in a sumptuous navy & silver floral jacquard dress with faux midriff detail from Review, print-mixed with a paisley wool blend jacket from Tree of Life, patent ankle boots from Wittner (a brilliant blend of comfort & style), 40 denier matte tights from Razzamatazz & a mauve vinyl combo of handbag & backpack from Forever New to carry all the essentials... & some fripperies I may have purchased from the many eclectic market-stallholders...
