Had the pleasure of attending "Siddhartha: The Musical" - an epic performance chronicling the life of Sakyamuni Buddha through song, dance & sumptuous costumes - at Queensland Performing Arts Complex (QPAC) in June & I'm delighted to share all the pictures of the gorgeous ensemble I wore with all of you!

I began by donning an opulent, ink twill dress with a modicum of shine from Anthea Crawford & layered the "hero" piece of the ensemble over the top - in this case an absolutely DIVINE "Tree of Life" printed linen long-sleeved midi-length duster jacket in shades of navy, red, green & taupe from Be Louise, purchased from a little boutique in The Strand at Coolangatta. Scroll down for a closer look at the transcendent print:

When it came to accessories, I decided to echo the shine inherent in the dress - black patent & matte leather ankle boots (reminiscent of those worn by Anne of Green Gables in the 1980s miniseries) from Wittner & a lipstick red patent leather shoulder bag with silver hardware from Vera May, once again sourced from the brilliant Simona Ricci store at Mt Ommaney.

Completing the look was a handmade oriental style drop necklace with ceramic pendant & cloisonne beads from an eclectic little Etsy shop called Only Good Buttons
