Franny Gets Festive (part 4)

As discussed in yesterday's post, we did things a little differently for Christmas 2020 owing to social distancing measures & spread out our festive celebrations over three days to enable us to safely spend time with our beloved extended family. For the final day of the Christmastide trio, Boxing Day, we headed to my Aunt's house to open presents, partake in a delicious buffet lunch under the pergola & indulge in some fun & games with the littlest members of the family, who were just filled to the brim with the joy & magic of the season.

For the occasion - & let's face it, because I had a strong inkling that my Aunt's verdant, landscaped back garden would provide the ideal backdrop for some stunning photographs - I dressed up in a beautiful blue hand-blocked floral cotton empire-line maxi dress with the softest blue cotton lining from Tree of Life's "Free Size" range that I mixed with an pair of blue vegan leather art deco style heels from vintage-inspired label Kitten D'Amour, a black woven straw shoulder bag from my local H&M store to carry all the essentials & finally, a chunky black resin & pastel clay "cameo" bracelet (handmade in Greece) that some dear friends gifted me on my last birthday... an eclectic ensemble that just seemed to work together to create a pleasing & cohesive whole & was the ideal mix of dressy & casual to suit the occasion & location.
