Following on from yesterday's post with snippets from our family Christmas Eve celebrations, I'm sharing some more snapshots, this time from the BIG one... Christmas Day. After waking up in my new nightie & heading out to greet my loved ones, it was time to eat, drink & be merry, opening presents & listening to festive records before enjoying a roast chicken dinner for lunch (those of us who don't eat chicken had lemon pepper salmon instead... I'm nothing if not consistent...) & just relishing the opportunity to be in each other's company after such a difficult couple of years.

For the occasion, I donned an utterly divine baby pink cotton shirred midi dress with voluminous puff sleeves from Australian label Aje, a pair of beige suede lace-up gladiator sandals with coloured pompoms from Wittner & matching chunky pink resin bangles & rings from celebrated design duo Dinosaur Designs to complete the look. The whole ensemble just felt very special & was the perfect choice for the day.
