All dressed up with no place to go (thanks to the Covid 19 #lockdown) wearing this gorgeous textured organza baby-doll dress with puff-sleeves & back bow from British label Sister Jane's whimsical diffusion line, Dream Sister Jane & a pair of the most splendiferous (can you tell that the Gene Wilder version of "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" was on the other night?) gold glittered pumps with white leather wedge heels & Mary Jane straps from the sadly-now-defunct Shoes of Prey. I was lucky enough to score these for the princely sum of $15 from a pop-up shop that was selling off the very last of the "returned" orders (people had them made then tried them on & found out they were too big or small) from the bespoke website to try & reduce the amount of waste when the company folded... What can I say? Every little bit helps with it comes to saving our precious environment & as someone who regularly shops at vintage stores, a pair of practically unworn (the soles were spotless) heels that would have easily retailed for perhaps ten times the price was an absolute no-brainer! I'm getting as much wear out of these babies as possible, social distancing or no social distancing, so brace yourself to see a lot more of their sparkly goodness invading this blog in the coming weeks...
