Scenes from Social Distancing (part 1)

A little peek at how social distancing is going for this fashion blogger...

Walking around the neighbourhood for some daily activity in the fresh air & sunlight wearing a gorgeous chartreuse linen mini smock dress with embroidered yoke detail from boho-luxe label Little Tienda & a pair of tan & yellow leather rope espadrille sandals from Armistace Australia via Petrol boutique in Paddington.

*

Trying my hand at some jigsaw puzzles to pass the time... my favourites so far have all been Ravensburger brand as the pieces are less flimsy than some of the others & the artwork is absolutely stunning!

*

Baking Muffins... so tasty fresh out of the oven & also after being frozen & heated up in the microwave. Best recipes so far have been for the raspberry & apple varieties...

*

Watching some of my favourite movies, both old & new.
How many of these titles have you seen?

*

Spending quality time in nature in my back garden, breathing in fresh air & thinking about better day to come...

*

Trying to fill my mornings with some new works of fiction from Booktopia. These two were particularly gripping...

*

More walks around the neighbourhood - this time wearing a funky blue & white striped jumpsuit with wooden buttons from Tree of Life (I'm wearing it backwards as I prefer it that way), brown leather thongs from Ripcurl which are extremely comfortable but on further reflection, not recommended for long walks & a pair of faux tortoiseshell sunglasses from my local Sportsgirl store.

*

Letting sleeping dogs lie...

*

The best part about frequenting certain local stores & small businesses is the "extra mile" of care & attention they take when packaging & shipping your items...
*

Autumn afternoons filled with the sounds of vinyl from the 1960s & 1970s. Some of my all-time favourites include Neil Young's "Harvest," Ross Ryan's "My Name Means Horse," Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water," The Door's "L.A. Woman" & The Allman Brothers Band's "Brothers & Sisters."

*

The best part of the day is often a "video chat" with these hilarious individuals... Spending quality time together even though we are physically kept apart by this lockdown.

*

Trying out YouFoodz & loving their tasty & healthy dining options...
