Following on from yesterday's post, I'm sharing more gorgeous photographs from my birthday festivities - this time dinner with family in the laid-back atmosphere of Coorparoo's California Native. For the occasion, I'm wearing a beautiful red & pink floral textured jacquard mini smock dress with extreme puff sleeves & scarf tie neckline from whimsical label Sister Jane, shiny black patent ankle boots from Wittner to add height, a black velvet knot bag from a lovely Spanish boutique called Swinging Chicks Shop on Etsy to carry all the essentials including a mask & hand sanitizer for this new Covid-conscious existence. When it came to accessories, I pinned a sweet little vintage brass brooch (a thoughtful birthday gift) in the shape of a cherub to the tie neckline & stacked a chunky vintage twisted brass bangle from The Way We Wore vintage fair many years ago & a thin, brushed brass bangle from my local Tree of Life store on my right arm.
