All the beautiful pictures from a family dinner that doubled as a belated birthday celebration for my wonderful sister-in-law & an opportunity to spoil our amazing patriarch with a plethora of Fathers Day gifts. For the occasion, I'm making the most of the last vestiges of cold weather wearing the gorgeous Divinity Maxi Dress in a celestial printed polyester with puff sleeves, true wrap & asymmetrically-ruffled hemline from City Chic that reminds me (a rather angsty 90s teenager) of the Smashing Pumpkins' "Mellon Collie & the Infinite Sadness," an album that I've probably played a million times. I've styled it up with a pair of black matte leather ankle boots from Wittner for a modicum of height, a boxy black vinyl handbag from French Connection to carry all the essentials including the obligatory facemask & hand sanitizer that I tied with a pink nylon scarf from That Shop around one of the handles & finally, a vintage semi-precious-stone necklace that some dear friends sent to me as part of a thoughtful lockdown care package earlier in the year.
