After a big family holiday at the beach, it was a low-key birthday celebration for our little James with some presents on the front verandah in the cool of the springtime afternoon after school. So many amazing things to keep little hands & minds busy & so much for a certain little brother to help him play with! On another note, yes, I am wearing the same gorgeous oversized-floral-print twill flared midi dress from Trelise Cooper that I was wearing in the last blog post... In all honesty, it was the same day that I'd been out to an event in Paddington & I didn't feel like changing as the dress looked & felt pretty special, which just goes to show that many items can do "double duty" in your wardrobe. I merely added a black mesh long-line waterfall cardigan with three-quarter sleeves from Taking Shape & voila! all set for an afternoon of birthday fun!
