Feeling like a true "Lady in Red" (can you tell I'm a 1980s baby with the Chris de Burgh reference?) in this stunning Selkie confection, worn to a recent Moulin Rouge-esque performance? This dress is the ULTIMATE showpiece from the bright & frothy organza to the puff sleeves to the smock-like silhouette to the exposed gold back zipper to the plethora of coloured ribbons that close the back together (all but one added by me) & was certainly a statement when styled up with a pair of metallic gold leather pointy-toed heels with ankle straps & buckles from Wittner, a beige leather pouch bag with gold zipper & tag from Country Road to carry all the essentials including my ever-present hand sanitizer & mask & finally, a trio of gold & silver sparkly Indian bangles that a dear friend gave me many years ago now & always make an appearance on special occasions where I want to add some matinee shine!
