Enjoying a rainy morning in the so-called "Sunshine State" in a vivid pink dupioni silk vintage shift with scooped neckline, side split detail, tie belt & gorgeous matching "corsage" detail. The roughly woven material was the perfect camouflage for errant raindrops, as shown in the picture below:

As a stylist & blogger, I particularly love kitschy, sweet design details. This "corsage," fashioned from the same material as the dress & with a beaded button in the centre (perfectly matching the button ends of the tie belt) is the ideal accompaniment to a cocktail-style dress from the 1960s era, adding that touch of je ne sais quois

Retro-style black patent Mary Jane heels were the perfect accompaniment to the look, mixed with a funky, modern print clutch & chunky chrome bangle.

"...slow down, you move too fast, you gotta make the morning last; just kicking down the cobblestones, looking for fun & feelin' groovy..."

59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy) - Simon & Garfunkel (1966)

Just seemed like a Simon & Garfunkel kind of day...
