Finally posting all of the photographs from a morning spent exploring Southbank Parklands with family (including a certain two little munchkins) before heading across the bridge to Brisbane City for lunch at Irish Murphy's Pub, home of the BEST Guinness Pie that I have ever tasted...

In the pictures above, I'm posing in front of the amazing tree silhouette that features in William Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale" (coming soon to QPAC) wearing one of my all-time favourite glitter floral twill midi-dresses from Anthea Crawford in shades of black, blue & mauve, longline black mesh duster cardigan from Taking Shape for a bit of warmth despite the harsh Queensland sunshine, sport-luxe black suede & mesh kickboxing boots from Puma for that combination of comfort & matching mauve vinyl handbag & backpack with silver hardware from Forever New - absolutely ideal for carrying all of the essentials on a day out! Jewellery was minimal; merely a silver-face Daniel Wellington watch (purchased at Pascoes Jewellers) with navy & white striped cotton band for a nod to nautical... you know, seeing as we were by the river & all...

Keep scrolling to see how it all unfolded...

Making the most of the playground...

Ready to cross the river...

Checking out the view (mostly of the recent construction work) from the balcony...

Loving the kitschy antique decor at Irish Murphy's Pub...

Delicious Guinness Pie... there's really nothing better when the weather turns chilly!
