While my darling little Huckleberry is undergoing an operation to repair his (fully torn) cruciate ligament in his right back leg, I'm thinking back to when he was still able to freely walk around our sunny neighbourhood, meeting up with the friendly pony who lives in in the paddock beyond. Fingers crossed he'll back back to his normal, effervescent self sooner rather than later...
A quick note about the fashion: I'm wearing a bohemian-inspired ensemble made from easy-breezy pieces - a gorgeous, khaki cotton boiler suit with wooden buttons from my local Tree of Life store (sleeves & ankles rolled up owing to my five foot frame), ivory lace & embroidered mesh kimono dotted with small faux pearls from Isabella Collection via Esteems Boutique in The Strand at Coolangatta & a pair of comfortable yet stylish black perforated leather brogues with moulded rubber soles from Midas.
