Finally sharing all of the gorgeous pictures from a day spent exploring all of the "Big City" Christmas displays with my cousin & two rambunctious munchkins including a flying visit to Cloud Nine, otherwise known as Brisbane's "most Instagrammable" backdrop; a magical ride on the Santa Express train to Santa's Workshop in Myer where toy-testing of Nerf Guns, Lego & Frozen video games abound; a Charlie-Bucket-style trip in the "great glass elevator" inside the Myer Centre; a quick cup of coffee (for some) & a sweet treat in the Queens Plaza Food Court & a chance to colour in & post our Christmas Lists to the Man in the Red Suit at David Jones (not to mention wave to him from afar...) before heading home.

For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous, mildly festive pink, red, green & white chrysanthemum printed silk/taffeta fit-to-flare midi dress with thin straps from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford, a pair of comfortable yet stylish gold metallic leather gladiator sandals with a plethora of buckles from Wittner, a red vinyl crossbody bag with Minnie Mouse ears from Typo as well as a matching chunky green malachite resin bangle & ring from celebrated design duo Dinosaur Designs.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...

Hey, you... get off of my cloud...
It's not often that you get to utter the exact phrases of Rolling Stones songs in your daily life now, is it?!
