All dressed up & super excited to be celebrating the birthdays of two of my all-time favourite December babies, my younger brother Louis & my cousin Nicholas with dinner at breezy, contemporary Reef Seafood & Sushi at the (relatively) new Gasworks, Newstead. For the occasion, I wore a gorgeous, summer appropriate white broderie cotton drop-waist smock dress with fluted hemline & tie back detailing (slightly altered for the Queensland climate from a Victorian button-up high neckline & full-length, voluminous sleeves) from laid-back Aussie label Decjuba with a black elastane slip underneath from Taking Shape for modesty, black matte leather pointy-toed heels with beige/blush pink patent straps from Nine West, a beige/blush pink patent handbag with tiny bow & gold hardware from Review & a matching jewellery trio from Samantha Wills - a chunky black resin bangle with gold inset that I received as a "gift with purchase" of an "In Style" magazine subscription more than ten years ago, a thin gold cuff with black onyx teardrop ends & an oversized gold cocktail ring with black onyx teardrop centre from David Jones fairly recently... I love it when a pieces are just meant to be together, no matter how far apart in time they are acquired.
