Finally sharing all of the pictures from this year's socially-distanced Halloween celebrations - from attending a daytime costume party dressed as a rather sparkly, rather pastel vampire bat with candy in spades to dinner & (scaled back) trick or treating with my cousin & her rambunctious boys, dressed as a "spooky" skeleton & a "petrifying" pumpkin, respectively. For the former, I donned a gorgeous, blush pink silk shift dress with puff sleeves & ruffled hemline that was absolutely covered in lines of iridescent sequins from Needle & Thread London, a funky pair of purple vegan leather heeled slingbacks with rounded toes from Aussie label Gorman... & the best parts: purple mesh & silver glitter "webbing" bat wings & a plastic pumpkin-shaped candy bucket from my local Lincraft store, purchased at the last minute due to Australia Post's inability to deliver a pair of fairy wings from interstate despite a three week turnaround. Ahem. Rant over. Regardless of the last minute scramble, the costume was a hit... not least because I filled the candy bucket with high quality sweets including Chupa Chups & Rainbow Mentos...

Scroll down to see all the pictures from our late afternoon trick or treating adventures, including the hallway dance party (after the candy had kicked in) with the light-up skeleton & pumpkin torches from Woolworths of all places...

What started as a Covid 19 lockdown distraction has now become a full-blown & rapidly growing obsession... it's pretty much my equivalent of a grown-up Legoland at this point...
