All dressed up for an event in the River City celebrating the power & beauty of art & the fortitude of 18th & 19th century Australian artists wearing an utterly divine deep purple satin midi dress with floral embroidered & sequinned deep purple, blush pink & soft gold mesh overlay including mini bell sleeves from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford - a sentiment clearly shared by many other fabulously stylish ladies as it sold out incredibly quickly & has been replaced by a similar version in a brighter shade of purple this season! To match the dress, I donned a pair of baby pink leather heels with satin laces from Jo Mercer (the perfect way to add height), a vintage woven reed crossbody bag that I discovered at the New Farm Antique Centre, an armful of sparkly gold & silver Indian bangles that a friend brought back from an overseas trip a few years ago & finally, a silver & diamante cocktail ring from a little boutique called Mano in the Myer Centre on Queen Street for that little touch of magic.
