Windswept & interesting at Point Danger with a dear friend & her adventure-loving little munchkin wearing a stunning pink & white floral cotton 60s style shift with funnel neckline from Sacha Drake (such a fresh colour combination for Spring/Summer), white knitted longline cardigan from Metalicus to ward off the chill in the air on top of the mountain, tan leather gladiator sandals from Wittner & pink-painted cane circular handbag with tan leather strap from Renee Loves Frances at Bulimba. As in many of my previous posts, the only jewellery necessary was a pair of wooden beaded bracelets with silver charms & twine tassels from Emmala by Emma, adding those bohemian vibes that I am so inordinately fond of.

Swimming Togs: Autograph Fashions lycra
Cover Up: Fiera cotton
Sunhat: Before Sunset woven cotton

Hitting the beach at Froggy's for a play (despite the wind) in a rather nautical inspired get up - an orange, white & blue paisley printed lycra one piece with little skirt (my preferred silhouette) from Autograph Fashions, covered by a blue & white striped cotton longline button-down shirt from the Fiera boutique in Bulimba & finally, a woven sunhat from Before Sunset

Jumpsuit: Worthier from Karma Coco polyblend
Blouse: Foxwood via Sea Wish Coolangatta cotton
Sandals: Wittner leather
Bag: Homestore Ashgrove cane, vinyl
Scarf: Sabah Lifestyle ombre embroidered cotton
Beaded Bracelet: Du Monde silver, shell
Bracelet: Tibetan silver (from a boutique in Maleny)

Out for a family dinner at Delizioso Italian (yes, even after eating those burgers, chips & milkshakes earlier) wearing a funky navy polyblend jumpsuit from Worthier that I found at a little store called Karma Coco, blue & white striped cotton blouse with modified bateau neckline & voluminous sleeves from Foxwood via the divine Sea Wish Coolangatta, white leather heeled sandals from Wittner & matching white cane circular handbag with vinyl strap from Homestore Ashgrove. I know that many people eschew white accessories for night, but I feel that Queensland's weather is often so temperate & the dress code so casual that you can easily "get away with it" with the right amount of chutzpah. When it came to accessories, I donned a beautiful blue, white & grey ombre floral scarf from Sabah Lifestyle, chunky silver & white shell beaded bracelet from Du Monde in Paddington & a Tibetan silver bracelet from a little boutique in Maleny.

Dress: Zimmermann linen
Slip: Taking Shape elastane
Anorak: Esprit linen
Sandals: Wittner leather with silver buckles
Bag: Nautica nylon, vinyl with silver hardware
Bracelets: Gone Dotti lava beads, carved soapstone, silver charms, tassels

*

A rainy morning at the Burleigh Beachside Markets wearing an off-white & black spotted linen baby doll mini dress with ruffled collar & trio of ties from Zimmermann's latest resort collection & black elastane slip from Taking Shape underneath for modesty purposes, terracotta linen anorak from Esprit to stay warm, black leather heeled sandals with silver buckles from Wittner & nylon crossbody bag with silver hardware from Nautica to keep my hands free for rummaging around all the eclectic stalls. Jewellery was (predictably) minimal; merely a pair of black lava beaded bracelets with carved wood faces, silver angel wing charms & twine tassels from my all-time favourite stall at the Southbank Markets, the wonderful Gone Dotti.

Sheltering from the rain at Connor (shortlisted for breakfast cafe of the year!) for our fill of smoothies & all-day breakfast.

Afternoon walks around Greenmount Hill in between rain showers wearing a stunning bohemian ensemble from a gorgeous little store called All About Lila - a funky, Buddha head printed cotton tunic with wooden buttons & waist tie with matching long-sleeved kimono from Maharani. To keep it casual, it was matched with a pair of flat, black leather gladiator sandals from Hush Puppies, black nylon & vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Nautica & pair of wooden beaded bracelets with silver charms & tassels from Emmala by Emma.
