All dressed up for a recent performance Peter & The Wolf with some dear friends & my darling Godchildren. The fabled "symphonic fairytale for children," written in 1936 by Sergei Prokofiev is no less relevant or exciting today, introducing even the youngest audience members to the joys of classical music & the various instruments of the orchestra. For the occasion, I'm wearing a gorgeous baby blue embroidered mesh midi dress with matching satin lining from Aussie designer label Anthea Crawford, a pair of bright silver metallic leather strappy heels from Jo Mercer to provide height while enhancing the brevity of the dress' ethereal tones, a baby blue textured vinyl handbag with silver hardware from Forever New to carry all the essentials & finally, a pair of matching vintage silver bangles from India to complete the look.
