It felt so wonderful to finally be able to leave my suburb & travel to Coorparoo for a haircut at my beloved Krop Hair. Honestly, my usual "blunt bob" is so well cut that all those weeks in lockdown hadn't really made any drastic difference other than a bit more length & a longer, less precise fringe but the "freshen up" was just what I needed to ease back into some sense of normality... & the fact that Hello Garry Espresso was open for piping hot, takeaway chai latte next door was also a welcome sight, I will freely admit! For the occasion, I donned a vibrant blue, white & black printed cotton column maxi dress with soft tie belt from Aussie designer Sacha Drake, a white knitted longline cardigan from Metalicus to ward off the slight chill in the air, a comfortable pair of black leather, patent & suede Mary Jane wedges from Naot via Adavera Shoes in Paddington & finally, a black vegan leather crossbody/handbag with silver hardware from Urban Originals to carry all the essentials.
