All dressed up for an event in the River City wearing a stunning black mesh dress with silver lurex baroque embroidery & fluted three-quarter sleeves from celebrated Aussie designer Anthea Crawford & a vintage olive taffeta jacket with black silk cuffs & a Chinese peony embroidered circular patch in the middle that some dear friends sent me as a lockdown pick-me-up a bit earlier in the year. Truth be told, it has been so nice to experience a colder winter season this year & be able to put together outfits comprising of some gorgeous long-sleeve dresses, jackets, wraps & tights after years of more mild temperatures. With this in mind, when it came to accessories, I donned a pair of black matte leather ankle boots from Wittner, a pair of flesh-tone fishnet tights from Kitten D'Amour to keep my legs feeling toasty-warm, carried a black vinyl & satin woven shoulder bag from Witchery & added a vintage silver & enamel horoscope ring (also a gift from thoughtful friends) to complete the look.
