At the moment, I'm loving the lush interplay of textures that winter temperatures allow! Take this ensemble, for example, styled up to attend a recent performance of Arthurian (Knights of the Round Table) lifesize puppets with some dear friends visiting from interstate: a gorgeous tiered mini dress with voluminous sleeves made from a divine navy embroidered spot mesh from Mossman, silvery-blue feathered sleeveless vest from Alannah Hill over the top (providing warmth without getting in the way of the dress' sleeves), shiny black patent ankle boots from Wittner, matte 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs warm & a boxy suede handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection. Jewellery was (as even in the colder months) merely a single silver & onyx cocktail ring from Georgini.
