Indulging in some school holiday fun & games at a local shopping centre with my cousin & her two rambunctious munchkins; messing around in boats before having lunch at a retro style American "burger joint" called Ruby Chews, painting "Jurassic World" plaster dinosaur figurines & scaring ourselves silly with the roaring animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex & (perhaps slightly inaccurate) Triceratops.

I'm mixing prints like it's my job (oh wait, it is) wearing a gorgeous large-scale floral neoprene midi dress from Anthea Crawford, cropped blue knitted cardigan from Target & striped cotton jacket in a complimentary colour palette from Tree of Life for those bohemian vibes I love so much. With regards to accessories, black seemed to be the order of the day - a pair of leather Converse "Chuck Taylor" high top joggers on my feet (seriously the last word in comfort), 40 denier matte nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty & a nylon & textured vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Nautica to hold all my essentials while keeping my hands free for toddler wrangling. Jewellery was kept to a minimum - a bright yellow resin cocktail ring from Thousand Island Dressing for a pop of colour on rather bleak winter's day.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...
