Is there a more beautiful, wintery combination than black & silver? I can't think of one! So when it came to dressing up for an event with a dear friend visiting from England, there was only one choice. I love the fact that this absolutely stunning rose-printed, textured jacquard fit-to-flare dress with its low v-neckline & high/low hem from Anthea Crawford is so glamorous yet really lends itself to an edgier vibe with the addition of this amazing cropped black leather jacket with Victorian-style collar from Just Jeans (at least ten years old now & getting better with age), shiny black patent ankle boots from Wittner, 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz & a boxy suede handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection. The impact was already so strong that further embellishment really wasn't needed, merely a hint of silver in the form of a chunky Victorian silver bracelet with oversized heart locket & teeny tiny key from Kellie's Antiques, gifted to me by a dear friend on the occasion of my 30th birthday.
