Sharing all the hilarious photographs from the night we took a dear friend out to experience dinner at one of our all-time favourite restaurants, Creole Soul Kitchen in Spring Hill. I'm not sure whether it was the awesome company, the fact that I was starving for the delicious food (particularly the eggplant sticks) or because that I managed to drink two bottles of East 9th Brewing Co's Future Memoirs of a Root Beer alcoholic root beer, but there aren't any food pictures, merely one selfie of "the girls" at the table & a few choice shots from our usual location near the verdant hedges on the side of the road on our way back to the car... fast becoming a tradition, as it happens...

For the occasion, I donned a gorgeous grey/mauve floral guipure lace dress with satin lining & fluted hem from Anthea Crawford, black mesh three-quarter sleeved mesh cardigan that can be tied in a bow at the front to create shape from a now-defunct label called Leaf, stunning upcycled cotton & tribal fabric jacket (handmade in Laos) that I found in a boutique called Matoomba on the main street in Montville, black matte ankle boots with patent toes from Wittner, 40 denier nylon tights from Razzamatazz to keep my legs feeling toasty & a black leather shoulder bag from Pigeonhole that is fast becoming my wintertime staple. Jewellery was kept simple - a single silver & black onyx cocktail ring from Georgini.

Scroll down to see the aforementioned group pics...
