Let me introduce you to one of my all-time favourite dresses: this stunning embroidered mesh number with its bateau neckline, cap sleeves with drawstrings, midi length & pleated waist detailing in the most divine shades of green & orange from Aussie designer, Sacha Drake! It will seriously be in high rotation this Spring/Summer festive season as it can be easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion. These particular shots were taken one morning when my father & I enjoyed a coffee at Woolloongabba before an appointment, so I had "dressed down" somewhat for daytime with a pair of shiny black patent ankle boots from Wittner (the heel may be high but it is quite chunky & therefore, rather comfortable) & bright orange patent leather handbag with gold hardware from Vera May, which I found at the Simona Ricci store at Mt Ommaney. When it came to jewellery, I went for something edgy: a matching malachite resin bangle & ring from celebrated duo Dinosaur Designs & a pair of handmade brass rings from the Redcliffe Jetty Markets to complete the look.
