For the second installment of my festive snapshots, I'm sharing little snippets from the days leading up to both Christmas Day & Boxing Day, including scenes from a "humorous headwear" party, quiet get-together with dear friends, King George Square's huge City Hall Christmas tree & Santa's mailbox, crowded shopping centres & yum cha goodies after a carol service at Church...

For the aforementioned "humorous headwear" shindig, I wore one of my all-time favourite outfits of 2018 - an absolutely stunning embroidered mesh midi dress with bateau neckline & ruched waist detailing from Aussie designer Sacha Drake, shiny black patent heeled ankle boots from Wittner matched with a vibrant orange patent handbag with gold hardware from Vera May (found at the Simona Ricci store at Mt Ommaney which has, in my opinion, the BEST range of Vera May in the area), chunky malachite resin bangle & ring from famed Aussie label Dinosaur Designs & a pair of handmade brass rings that I picked up at the Redcliffe Jetty Markets earlier in the year. The headpiece - a sweet little Christmas tree adorned with lights (sadly not functional) from Myer matched the colours of the ensemble perfectly for a cohesive total look.

For a sweet festive get-together with dear friends - including my darling Goddaughter - on a balmy summer afternoon, I just couldn't go past this fresh navy & white checked linen jumpsuit (or pantsuit, if you prefer) from funky Aussie brand Gorman, white leather heeled sandals from Wittner, white cane handbag from the always amazing Renee Loves Frances in Bulimba & a shiny silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop on my right wrist.

Braving the heat of the completely paved King George Square (thank goodness for an overcast sky) for a few pictures with the City Hall Christmas Tree & Santa's Mailbox wearing a stunning tulip printed twill wiggle dress with bardot neckline from Jayson Brunsdon Black Label (kindly gifted by a dear friend), black laser-cut leather heels from Wittner, boxy suede handbag with oversized silver handles from French Connection to carry all the essentials, shiny silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & matching black resin wave bangle & oversized rosette cocktail ring from Aussie label Dinosaur Designs... From there, it was on to one of our new favourite places for delicious Thai fare, Pochana on Elizabeth Street. Keep scrolling to see for yourself...

Braving the shopping centre for some last minute festive essentials... & also taking a ride on some of the $2 kiddie attractions... well, it is Christmas, after all...
