Feeling those Australiana vibes over the Australia Day Long Weekend in this gorgeous green, white & blue leaf printed cotton shift dress with midi-length hemline from Aussie "ethical clothing" designer Anthea Crawford... worn over two days to two different events & yes, washed in between. I think it's important in this day & age to be mindful of the impact of the fashion industry on the environment when it comes to what we purchase & try to get as much wear out of each beautiful piece was possible. In this particular instance, I've styled it up for a late afternoon BBQ to celebrate all that is "the land down under" by adding a pair of dark gold metallic leather Mary Jane heels with bright gold buckles from Wittner, a circular khaki green vinyl & suede crossbody bag with gold hardware from Forever New to carry all the essentials & add another dimension of colour, a natural woven paper tote bag that a dear friend gifted me for Christmas last year & some divine jade pieces that my brother brought back from a trip to China a few years ago - a thin bangle from the Shanghai Markets & a delicate beaded bracelet from Wanfu Jade.

Remember to check back for tomorrow's post showcasing the same dress with different accessories for a complete different event...
