All dressed up for a "concierge shopping experience" with some lovely ladies at one of Brisbane's most celebrated retail precincts. The outfit I'm wearing comprises of only five easy pieces & took about ten minutes to put together (at least six of those spent finding the bag I wanted amid the heaving nightmare that is my accessories closet) proving that looking stylish doesn't have to be fussy... & doesn't have to take FOREVER. The gorgeous rose embroidered mesh shift dress from Aussie label Sacha Drake is dressed "down" for daytime with the addition of a pair of edgy black leather heels with elastic ankle straps from Jo Mercer & a burgundy vinyl handbag with silver hardware from Nine West provides a welcome "pop" of vibrant colour. When it came to jewellery, less is more: a chunky silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop & rose gold & silver watch from Guess to complete the look... & give me the option of "telling the time" without constantly checking my mobile phone.
