There is nothing more beautiful & infused with a hint of Australiana than a yellow floral print for the late summertime & this gorgeous little satin wiggle dress with high/low hem, ruffled neckline & lingerie-inspired black grosgrain ribbon straps (added by me) from the label Collection (available at your local Myer store) is certainly a case in point: everywhere I went wearing this little number, I was stopped by random members of the public who were either profuse with compliments or curious as to where they could possibly get their hands on one of their very own. Playing on the addition of the black grosgrain, I've styled it up with a pair of soft black suede pointy-toed mules from Wittner, a cylindrical vinyl handbag with chrome hardware from French Connection, a silver hinged bangle from Wallace Bishop for some daytime shine & finally, a funky & oversized red resin heart brooch that a dear friend made at one of her art classes & thoughtfully gifted to me, providing the ideal "pop" of colour to complete the look.
