As a stylist, I love finding out about new-to-me designers with a unique perspective & this gorgeous grey ramie tiered maxi "Harper" dress by Noosa native Cherilyn Hewish's label Zephyr Loungewear (stocked at the beautiful Fallon boutique in Paddington) has certainly left me longing to add more of her stunning pieces to my collection. Able to be "styled up or down" with a simple changing of accessories, I've worn it in its more casual incarnation for a morning spent having my hair freshly snipped & coloured by the delightful Shabana at Krop Hair before a rummage around the local antique stores for bygone treasures. I've added black accessories to make it a little more edgy - a pair of black leather sandals with silver buckles from Wittner to provide height, a woven black straw shoulder bag from H&M to carry most of my essentials & finally, for that all important "pop" of bright colour, a handmade tote bag (gifted by a dear family friend for Christmas) made from upcycled Japanese fabrics & embroidered with kokeshi dolls to hold any & all of my purchases.
