Currently loving navy blue as a fresh summertime alternative to black & charcoal shades, particularly when it comes to this little ensemble, styled up for a morning spent sipping piping hot chai latte from Hello Garry Espresso & having my hair trimmed, coloured, washed & conditioned by the delightful Shabana at Coorparoo's Krop Hair. These few little snapshots were taken straight afterwards, in front of the windows of the restaurant next door & give a little insight into the "behind the scenes" of creating content for both Instagram & this blog if you look carefully enough to see the long-suffering, "Instadad" photographer behind the camera phone, reflected in the left-hand-side of each little tableau. I'm wearing a gorgeous feather-printed polyblend shift dress from Aussie label Anthea Crawford in a variety of blue, white & yellow hues with a pair of navy leather sandals from Supersoft that I picked up for under $50 in a recent "mega sale" at my local Williams Shoes & carrying all of my daily essentials in a natural woven straw bucket bag from Sportsgirl for a touch of boho-chic, making an otherwise simple look that little bit more interesting.
