Since all of this Covid 19 social distancing began, it's safe to say that I've been craving time outside in the fresh air of the "great outdoors," away from home & by the meandering river. As soon as restrictions eased somewhat, I headed out for a morning jaunt to one of my all-time favourite places, the Sherwood Arboretum - across the water from Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary which, unfortunately, remains closed due to the pandemic - & after an hour or so spent walking the boardwalk trail, trudging through the dewy grass, dancing underneath the tree-lined main pathway & greeting the ducks & other waterbirds, I headed home feeling a good deal happier & more content with this changed life we've all been recently living.

For the outing, I donned a gorgeous white & green leaf printed cotton midi-length dress from Aussie designer Anthea Crawford, white knitted long-line cardigan from Metalicus (purchased a few years ago now at the DFO Brisbane Airport) to ward off the autumnal chill in the air, a pair of comfortable yet stylish blush leather sneakers with white rubber soles from the celebrated Frankie 4 Footwear & finally, a white vinyl crossbody bag with silver hardware from Forever New to carry all the essentials (hand santizier, wipes, gloves, wallet, phone etc) while keeping my hands free.

Scroll down to see a little more of the morning...
