Avid readers of this blog will already know how much I adore singing karaoke... so the opportunity to spend an afternoon singing my heart out to celebrate the dawning of a new year was like a dream come true! For the occasion, I donned what I would consider to be one of my most sultry ensembles - you know, to get in the mood as nightclub chanteuse - a gorgeous black mesh shift dress with 3D red rose & leaf embellishment & thick black satin obi-style belt for optimum waist definition from Australian designer Sacha Drake, sky high black leather booties that lace up from Jo Mercer, black leather shoulder bag from Pigeonhole to carry all my essentials (red lipstick & the like) & a matching black resin "wave" bangle & "rosette" ring from celebrated jewellery creators, Dinosaur Designs.
