I'm so excited to be sharing yet more beautiful images from my younger brother's emotional nuptial celebrations; this time focusing on the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony conducted by the bride's family the day before the wedding ceremony that we were so honoured to be invited to partake in.

For the occasion, I wore an absolutely divine vivid red rose printed silk fit-to-flare midi dress with black tulle skirt underlay (for added "oomph" that made it all the better to twirl in!) from Taking Shape's event wear collection, black suede kitten heels with pointy-toes covered in white faux pearls by Hispanitas that I picked up from the Peter Sheppard clearance store in the Wintergarden & carried a boxy black vinyl hard-case handbag with white piping & bow detail from "girly" Aussie label Review. When it came to jewellery, less was definitely more: a chunky silver "wave" hinged bangle from Precious Stones Jewellers juxtaposed with a delicate green jade beaded bracelet from Wanfu that my brother brought back from a trip to China a few years ago. Check out the flatlay below for a closer look at each piece before scrolling to see the look in all its glory down by the Botanical Gardens entrance where the sunlight magnifies the brilliant colours & you can see the skirt's many stunning layers in action...
