I'm so excited to share all of the gorgeous pictures from an overcast & much cooler day (one of the last of this long, hot summer) exploring Mt Coot tha Botanical Gardens with my cousin & her two rambunctious munchkins before driving further "up the mountain" for lunch at the Kuta Cafe with a panoramic view of Brisbane courtesy of the Summit Lookout. The occasion called for a more casual ensemble on my part, so I started with this funky floral printed cotton jumpsuit with faux wrap detailing & tie belt from Princess Highway via Dangerfield & layered a flesh-tone microfibre camisole from Ambra underneath for modesty, owing to said jumpsuit's low v-neckline. For the ideal fusion of comfort & style, I donned a pair of tan leather gladiator sandals from Wittner & carried a pink painted cane crossbody bag with tan leather strap that I picked up from the Renee Loves Frances boutique in Bulimba. Jewellery was kept to a minimum - merely a pair of wooden beaded bracelets with silver charms & soft tassels from Emmala by Emma, a stalwart of the Brisbane/Gold Coast handmade market scene.

Scroll down to see how it all unfolded...
