Finally sharing all the beautiful pictures from a recent jaunt to Queens Park in my hometown, particularly the historical area behind the playground (adjacent to the Bush Chapel) & the fabled Nerima Japanese Gardens, which were unfortunately mostly closed due to recent inclement weather bringing down a multitude of branches & debris. Regardless, we were still able to showcase this stunning look to its full potential; the beginning of a series of ensembles photographed in & around my local area, with its rich past & bygone grandeur. Avid readers of the blog will already know how much this staunch dress lover ADORES jumpsuits (possibly down to the one piece on & ready to go principle) & this little floral polyester & lurex ruffled number from Jayson Brunsdon Black Label is no exception, particularly when styled up with a black microfibre camisole from Basque (both exclusive to Myer stores) underneath for modesty... a little trick that I have learned to make faux wrap tops feel a little more covered up/appropriate/secure for the large busted among us. When it came to accessories, I couldn't go past these amazing black leather & suede heels with tie-up ankle straps from Wittner to elongate my frame mixed with a black suede roll-top clutch from Portmans to carry all the essentials & finally, a matching chunky malachite resin bangle & ring from celebrated Aussie label Dinosaur Designs to inject a bit of "streetwear" edge into what is otherwise a rather "dressy" look, ideal for the change in season that we are currently experiencing.
