Dancing around in a groovy 1960s-inspired kaleidoscopic print shift dress from Target Collection, a new diffusion range from the retailer which aims to be just that little bit more unique, expensive-looking & special than the regular offering.

Playing with the retro theme, I added a pair of mint patent pointy-toed pumps, picnic-basket-esque straw box handbag with ribbon detailing, an armful of wound-cotton bangles in a variety of colours & a gold hinged bangle with a sweet scene from Cinderella (in 3D) on one side - complete with pumpkin coach! - & an inspirational message that "Dreams Come True" engraved on the inside. The finishing touch to complete this gamine look was, of course, a black "Alice Band," named after the headband that Alice is often depicted wearing in Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass & popularised in the 1960s by the likes of Catherine Deneuve...
