Some pictures of what I wore for a mother-daughter shopping trip at Indooroopilly last Saturday. Tried to get the jump on some Christmas shopping, enjoyed perusing the gorgeous festive display in the revamped Myer store (despite being bitterly disappointed by the offering at the brand-spanking-new David Jones... let's hope there's more decoration to come, that's all I can say...) & shared some laughs as we stuffed ourselves full of delicious Yum Cha.

Dressed down a textured pique dress - replete with stunning waist-fold detail - by adding a pair of faux snakeskin sandals & black suitcase-style handbag. Chrome accessories were then chosen to enhance the fabric's effervescent shade of green in the form of a chunky beaded drop necklace, which worked well against the dress' bateau neckline & a thick "woven" chrome bangle. Scroll down for close-ups:

Below are a few pictures of my stylish mother, looking vibrant for spring in a yellow woven Perri Cutten short-sleeved jacket, patterned Jacqui E waisted shift, brown leather Paul Green sandals, vintage silver brooch & a beaded bracelet my brother brought back from a recent trip to China:

Using chop-sticks to enjoy my Yum Cha... I STILL can't hold a pencil with the correct grip but when it comes to food - not cooking - oddly enough my lack of fine-motor-skills isn't an issue:
