A few pictures of what I wore out & about in the city for a luncheon engagement. This empire-line Virtu dress is an easy-breezy option: its striking dark floral print & crushed silk fabric mean that not only does it look fabulous, it requires no ironing! What is wonderful about the bias-cut skirt is the way it swings in the breeze, evidenced below:
As usual, I have anchored this look with a gorgeous pair of black heeled sandals & handbag &, as the dress is heavily patterned, kept the rest of my accessories to a minimum. In fact, I have only added a simple chunky silver bangle & necklace comprised of a myriad of different beads including beautiful faceted ones that make up the flower's petals, shown in detail below:
