Picked up this striking little ensemble at my local Millers store... Yes, you read it right: Millers. Sure, they're mostly known for their retirement-chic vibe, but this seems to be changing, with far more on-trend, youth-enhancing shapes & styles readily available. The "silver rose" print lace is a fresh take on a old classic & the idea of pattern-on-pattern (or pattern overload) is SO hot right now... And all this at classic Millers prices - the two piece look would set you back a mere $75! (Even less if you sign up a for a Millers card, FYI...)

Funked up with accessories such as a pair of sculptural neoprene & suede booties, patent bowling bag & textured silver & diamante flower hinged bangle (pictured in detail above), the ensemble is perfect for a myriad of occasions, including late-night shopping with a friend, which is where I rocked it... Owing to the cold night-time air, I decided to layer it up with a draped nylon anorak in an edgy "lantern" shape, adding yet another dimension, pictured below:

As long-time readers of this blog would already know, I have always believed that true style isn't dependent on price or hype - great options can be found in many different places; all you have to do is take a second look. And don't forget - it's also all about the mix: funky or edgy accessories have the power to elevate or dramatically change any look, so don't be afraid to think OUTSIDE the box... After all, fashion is all about self-expression...
